Meet Charlotte
Charlotte and her piggy siblings were all born via emergency c-section surgery on February 3, 2023. We rescued their VERY pregnant mom from another nonprofit animal rescue that had closed it's door earlier this year. From the stress of transport + malnourishment, their mom (Valentina) had a dystocia pregnancy, and needed emergency surgery. She gave birth to a total of 9 piglets, but sadly only 5 survived. Valentina was unable to produce milk for her piglets due to being nutritionally deficient for so long.
Charlotte and her piglet siblings were tube-fed for the first ~3 weeks of their life; nonstop supportive care and around-the-clock monitoring & feeding. Valentina's piglets were hand raised inside our home for the first 6 weeks of their life, and now they are finally big enough/healthy enough for spay/neuter surgeries!
Charlotte's spay surgery is scheduled for May 10th, 2023. She will soon be Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and available for adoption!
Sponsor Charlotte to help underwrite the cost of her feed, hay, supplements, medications, and continuing veterinary care.
